AFCO is thrilled to be back onstage LIVE for a performance of W.A. Mozart’s great choral masterwork Requiem in d minor, K. 626.  In this season of new beginnings, it is fitting that AFCO’s first live performance following the pandemic is the same choral work that was featured on AFCO’s inaugural concert on November 7, 2008.

The Requiem is scored for choir, four vocal soloists, and a smaller orchestra.  AFCO has assembled a notable cast of soloists for this production.  Nicole Vander Does, Soprano, is a graduate of Utah State University who currently sings with the Singing Sergeants of The United States Air Force Band in Washington D.C.  Aubrey Adams McMillan, Mezzo-Soprano, is on the voice faculty of Westminster College in Salt Lake City and has an active career singing opera, music theater, chamber music, art song, and symphonic works. Cory Evans, Tenor, is the Director of Choral Activities at Utah State University and has performed internationally as a tenor soloist.  With his imposing stage presence and magnificent voice, award-winning bass-baritone Clayton Brainerd, Bass, has performed with many of the greatest orchestras and opera companies around the world.

Tickets are $20 - $45, and children aged 8 and older are welcome.

For health and safety reasons, all choir members have received COVID-19 vaccinations and will sing masked.
